was Heathrow's first terminal. Opened in 1955, it was originally named the Europa Building. Terminal 2 closed in November 2009 for redevelopment and the new Terminal 2, also known as The Queen's Terminal, reopened on the 4th of June 2014.
Prior to its closure, a total of 30 airlines operated from T2 carrying over 8.5 million passengers every year.
Following the reopening of the terminal, many airlines now operate from it, and it has joined Terminal 5 in offering Domestic, as well as International, services.
Check-in is located on the top floor of Terminal 2. Flight Arrivals are located on Level 1 while Flight Departures can be found on Level 5 (Check-in level) and Level 4 (Gates A1-A26). Gates B39-B49 are located in Terminal 2B.
